Mining Computta

How to easily start crypto currency mining without expertise!

First, to register, go to: "Computta"

Enter your email and a password to get started.

Once you have created an account, you will see your account home page:
As part of your registration, you will be asked to provide a Bitcoin (BTC) wallet address. Don't panic! It's very easy to get. A good place to open a BTC wallet account is “Coinbase”. Most wallets have a similar registration process. You register with your email, provide ID to prove who you are, and link your bank account for withdrawals. Although it may take a few days before everything is set up, you will be able to generate a BTC wallet address in minutes. From your wallet account, you can send money directly to me by simply adding this address in the section. So think of it as an account number, but your account can generate many of them, even one per transaction. Then, when ready, enter your address wallet in your Computta account to configure your payment method.

Installation
Click on the link "CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD". I was pleasantly surprised that they went to the effort to make sure my antivirus didn't mark the program. The problem is that some malware installs miners on your PC to mine cryptocurrencies for other people with your electricity and hardware. Hence mining programs can trigger your anti-virus. If marked, best to make the installation folder (C:\Program Files\Computta) an exception in your anti-virus software before installation.

You will download "Computta_windows-x64.exe" at a reasonable size of 65.6 MB.
Continue to click "Next" and witness the installation.
"Run Computta" and click "Finish".
Now here's the benchmark section. Before you click "Start Benchmark", make sure your PC isn't running any programs or games in the background. Your PC may get very close to the benchmark as it 100% underlines your system to see what its capabilities are.
Once done, you should then enter your account details which you used to create your account earlier.
And you are ready to start mining. Click "Start Earnings" to start. Also remember that the following benchmark is calculated in USD.
Miner Settings

When you have installed and configured Computta, you will see the following data mining screen:
The settings are quite simple, but my recommendation is to select "Smart" then go to "Advanced Settings". Here you will see how you can edit when your PC will start mining and how it will work.
Set your time in minutes first. 1 minute of non-use will maximize your earnings while ensuring your PC runs smoothly when you use it.
The next two sliders represent how you will operate when you use your computer. The last two sliders determine how hard the PC operates when left alone.

If it works on a family PC, I highly recommend:
​
- 5 minutes long
- 0% CPU and GPU usage on the first two sliders
- 50% CPU and 100% GPU in second sliders
My settings:

- 1 minute long
- 0% CPU and 100% GPU on the first sliders
- 50% CPU and 100% GPU on second sliders
For my PC, I use a Plex server. So I need about half the power of my CPU to send movies to my living room and my phone, but you may want it running 100% on your CPU for more benefits. I highly recommend setting your GPU to 100% because that will be your biggest income! You will notice that I am running my GPU at 100%. This is done on purpose because my PC is always very responsive on the desktop when the maps are in full use. When I want to play games, I just click the "Off" button on the main screen, then bring it back to the "Smart" setting afterwards. This ensures that while I'm just browsing the web (or writing this story very average), I don't prevent my PC from making money.

How much will I win?
I wish I could give you a simple answer to this question. The easiest way to find out is to just run the benchmark and see. The reason why which is complicated is that it depends on a number of factors:
- The capabilities of your hardware
- How long you will mine (every day)
- The price of the currency you are mining
- The price of Bitcoin (BTC) Comparison with USD
- The price of the USD compared to the currency of your country
- A percentage of the amount extracted by your referrals
This is why your benchmarks can vary wildly if you try to run them again on another day.
